Both postcards published by W. G. MacFarlane of Toronto and processed differently. The colourization of early postcards rarely portrays the actual colour of the building or scene.  In general consumers were more attracted to the colourization of the postcard more than they were to the accuracy of the colours chosen.  Of the seven colorized Library postcards none have correctly depicted the colour of the brick or roof.
